After a film, there is usually nobody around to talk about it with. kalcer only asks for the title. What answers is not an all-purpose assistant waiting for instructions, but something that has lived with films for a long time and has opinions of its own.
Why it was built this way
The quality of a conversation with AI is set by the expectation a person brings when they arrive. An all-purpose assistant gets treated like a search engine, because nobody knows what to do with it. So the work here was not the model but the frame: one question on the first screen, and the person arrives already carrying their own feeling about the film. The daily allowance has been capped on the server since day one, and the cap is written plainly on the screen, not hidden behind an upgrade prompt.
